- Service is primarily commodity-based (travel, equipment, labor, time-on-site, overhead etc.) DJ will play music requested by the client and make necessary signature announcements. Talent (charisma, DJ skill, MC personality, style, etc.) is developing.
RISING STARS DJ TRAVEL:
Travel is calculated from zip code 97204. The first 60 miles are complimentary, thereafter is $2.50 per mile (one way).
Paradox pricing varies based on the quality of the experience you are seeking, the demand of the individual DJ, and the type of event you are hosting.
"Talent" is based on MC & DJ skill, social charisma, and proven results of an individual. That said, Paradox DJs are hand-picked as the best in the business, and thus all Paradox DJs are of higher quality in the DJ industry in general.

JUSTIN'S PROCESS:
Administration: This started once your inquiry was received and continues past the wedding date. Included here is all correspondence + meetings between client and myself, proposal/contract/invoice generation, personal online account + planning form set-up, timeline creation, vendor-to-vendor communication, staffing, pre-event prep (music back-ups, gear reservation, etc.), final playlist generation, post event follow-up, etc.
Percentage of Services: 25%
Discovery: This began once the inquiry was received and continues right up to the wedding date. It encompasses everything from site inspections, logistical planning, gear procurement, music research + prep, show prep + practice, rehearsal participation (as available), staffing availability, etc. This is critical to formulating the client’s financial investment analysis for the proposal and/or final work order, the Creative Planning Meeting and Pre-Event Prep.
Percentage of Services: 25%
Creative Planning Meeting: This is the secret sauce to what I do. This meeting, which occurs approximately 30-60 days prior to the wedding, is a deep dive from an entertainment perspective into your wedding. We go through layout, lighting, special effects, timeline, and music curation to name a few. This is truly a collaborative effort between creative partners, the client and myself. The client will be contacted with what’s needed as we get close to scheduling this meeting. It has taken a career to build this step properly and what is accomplished here is vital to the wedding’s success.
Percentage of Services: 25%
Event Day-of Service: What we are providing as far as talent, gear, labor, travel and overall time for the event is outlined in the final work order and will be noted in contract. However, I clearly go above that with set-up, timeline coordination, vendor team synergy, final checks, tear-down, intangible expertise (reading the room + adjusting on the fly + guest interaction + expert DJ skills), day-of preparation / procedures, etc.
